The third and final visit on a Nottingham explore-a-thon took us to the Radford Mill / Viyella Works. It boded well for me that it was starting to pour down by this time and not as many people around, because the whole no sleep and two sites previous was starting to catch up with me so all 'stealth mode' had gone out of the window and the old 'cant be arsed to walk around checking for working cameras...lets just get in' attitude was creeping in by this time.

The mill was very stripped, but a few interesting things still remained. Another relaxed explore, but on the upper floors we realised we weren't alone... no it wasnt just the crazy kamikaze pigeons, we were also in the company of two foxes.. and I suspect (although we didnt disturb them further and left them alone) that there was more than likely to be a whole little foxy family somewhere up there :)

History has been well covered, the best probably by Layz here: -

But I did find this announcement of the place's closure on a nottingham website which makes for an interesting read: -

I know grafetti is not to everyone's tastes but I couldnt help but find this amusing since the person didnt even bother to move the cone and chair and basically drew over and around.
