RAF Bempton was an RAF base situated at Bempton in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, 6 miles north of Bridlington. The site was established in February 1940 as RAF Flamborough Head, but was renamed by the end of that year. It was a GCI station which disbanded on 1 August 1945. From 1945 operated as a Air Ministry Experimental Station Type 31 subsequently on 1 June 1949 it was established as a CHL/CHEL radar station. ON 17 February 1950 RAF Bempton was transferred to RAF Fighter Command. On 1 November 1951 it was renamed as 146 Signals Unit Bempton and rebuilt as part of the ROTOR Programme. The 146 Signals Unit was disbanded on 1 December 1961
Bempton became a satellite station of RAF Patrington until final closure in April 1972. The site was sold in 1980/81 and is now privately owned.

Myself, MAD MAX, Cobra and geedubua, visited this site. It was a cold and very windy day and the only way in (due to the removal of the escape stairs) was through rancid cow waste (S**T). The bunker is situated on only one level (unlike RAF Holmpton, which is close by), there is a large area of fire damage in the large full length room along one side of the hall. Some of the Graffiti in the bunker is a little fruity (LOL) and goes back to times when the bunker was used as a location for satanic ritual.

Here are the pics:

Re: Raf Bempton Rotor Bunker, 11/09

There was plenty of fun had painting with light today, on what was my third trip to RAF Holmpton's little sister.
The dodgy satanic graffiti is always unsettling viewing in this place.

Re: Raf Bempton Rotor Bunker, 11/09

And for all you UE perverts out there here's a full set of the satanic graffiti from RAF Bempton.
According to a very reliable source, Bempton was used for devil worship in the 80's.
Apparently the Police eventually raided the bunker and arrested the dodgy blighters who were holding a black masses down there.
