Now I think there’s loads written about this raf base. But it’s one of my fave places to be! Character left in some buildings some paintings left that ain’t been ruined! (1st picture I didn’t capture it all! Didn’t realise until after )!
RAF upwood Was established in 1917 and Closed it’s doors in 2012 and then everything moved to the sister site In Alconbury, now all the base is used for is airsoft games and skaters have made ramps in some of the buildings, gutted the tanks have finally gone tho ! And yes I sat on a barrel and a pigeon come flying out!
