Access was fairly easy

Foyer in lovely military peach

upstairs

Dining room in a fetching lime green. This too was massive!

Love the wording on this firing cap Ã¢â‚¬Å“Retreat 5 meters, This is not a toyÃ¢â‚¬Â

Love the boarding on the windows, very artistic. Must have taken longer to do it so random!

Officers mess (a lot fancier) coming soon!

How this place has changed. Five more years of dereliction have not been kind:

The entrance to the Sergeants' Mess. A Barrack Block Type Q, but still retaining it's window frames here.

However, the majority of your pictures were taken inside this building.
It's the Corporals' And Airmens' Dining Room (building design 6848/39).

I'm looking the opposite way from your shot inside the entrance.

It would seem that everything not nailed down has gone: the light fittings, the serving hatch... lots more shit graffiti...

And this room was disgusting then, and nice to see that it's still disgusting now!

Thanks for the pictures. Brought back some good memories.
