Not much documented history on this place! This mill has not been operational for a long time - although Rank Hovis is still operating, modernisation (and various other factors), has meant there are a few Hovis mills that are no longer in operation. This site was sold to a private developer, and there was rumour it was to be used for 'modern studio style apartments', but that was a few years ago now. It is probably due to the recent economic downturn that no development has taken place.
