Realstone UK Ltd has had a business in this quarry since 1998 they did shaping and cutting of stone and then sills on to the trade or general public. The company was dissolved in 2017. The site was put for sale but still lays derelict.
We were passing here and popped in for a little look. The rot was starting to set in a bit then. But not as bad as later I pics I see emerging from here. It was not a bad little explore, plenty of stone to admire. It has an empty workshop, canteen and locker rooms. The main offices at the front were locked right on our visit.

Trashed mate. Plus arson attacks. Shame as as you would expect with a stone-producing company, it was a high spec new build.

Thats nice. A keen gardener would be horrified at seeing those bolders and slabs left like that. They cost a bomb when landscaping. Lovely contrast in the colours of the stones there. :
