Just for fun though I've been researching how you would get in if you wanted to and found this image of a shaft with a manhole cover.

Could it possibly be connected to something like this?

The manhole is chained closed from below these days. I'd imagine you can still get in though.

I also found some photos via a google search. It was years ago and they climbed in through a tiny squeeze round the back of the derelict buildings. I went for a look recently and it's all beautifully bricked up now.
