The 1st visit with Ocelot and then the full explore with Rigsby.

This one was built the same time as the Dreadnaught, Between 1971-1974. It's Built to take the flood waters from Bedminster and surrounding area.

I always knew it as the Malago Storm Interseptor, After chatting with Rigsby he told me that its called the Rednaught, Because of the red bricks.

The tunnel is long but not as long as the Dreadnaught, It's an easy walk only slippery in places. There is a lot of mud on each side of the tunnel.
I did like the mandatory supermarket trolley at both ends.

The Malago Storm interceptor is Dreadnaught. This is just the original culvert that took the Pidgeonhouse stream and Malago under the last stretch of built up Bedminster, before reaching the river. It was and is too small, thus Dreadnaught was built. If you go to Bristol during snowmelt, Dreadnaught will be a raging torrent, yet this tunnel will be unchanged as most of the stream diverts into Dreadnaught now, effectively leaving this tunnel redundant.
Hmm, given that Dreadnaught was built to replace this tunnel, i doubt it was built in the 1970's. More like 1870's given its age and close proximity to the centre of Bristol.
