Rednaught Victorian Storm Drain, Bristol

Seffy and Housecat.

First off, this is not to be confused with 'Dreadnaught', another drain in Bristol. Otherwise known as the Malago Storm Water Interceptor.

One of the more spontaneous evenings last year, just before hitting Parcelforce, we decided to head underground and check out Rednaught. A return is certainly on the cards as as didn't see all it had to offer (up close anyway) as Bristol's famous tide was against us sadly.

This is a tidal drain, as it carries it's load into the River Avon, with the outfall slightly further down the Avon than Dreadnaught. The red brick makes this one slightly more unique in my opinion.

The photos are not my best, but wanted to put something up all the same! More will follow in due course I'm sure.
