Rank, Hovis, McDougall Premier Mill. Next door to Millennium Mills.
It closed in the early 80's. 1982 I believe. The place is a real mess inside due to 25 years of rain coming throught the skylights and a failed roof.
I know some of you have been in but I thought it deserved a thorough explore! I've been in lots of times of the past few months to record as many details as possible before it gets sanitised. Lots of pics but I struggled to get it down to these!
Typical view where equipment has been removed.
High up the floor is a total no go area!
Offices and a sack chute.
Top of the man elevator. Belt is long gone.
Think these are sieves plus the elevators on the LHS.
Another rotten floor, maybe if you weigh less than 9st you could risk it!

Long curly swirly thing. They are the full height of the mill.
