visited with two non members, this culvert runs for about a mile and half, it has three different build techniques, prefab concrete rings, round victorian and egg shaped, I'm assuming that the downstream half of the culvert was changed from victorian brick to the concrete to accept an overflow pit from the main sewer (pic 4&5), although the floor into the overflow chamber wasn't particularly slippery so i'm assuming it doesn't see that much use.

Good effort, any pics sewer side ?

no fella, I jumped down into the pi where it was and it had a three foot concrete coming into what looked like a sump pit then out into a two foot concrete,didnt fancy crawling up it as the flow was pretty strong!

This is high on my list for the winter! REEF and I explored a victorian brick culverted section of this earlier in the year, a bit more down stream than this section

Do you mean upstream? I heard of one under the corn Exchange but never really bothered looking as don't really know the area!
