Robinson and Pickford was incorporated in 1928 as a knitwear manufacturer.
With it's location right next to Corah, it’s possible they were absorbed by the hosiery giant but that’s all the history I could find.

I did find this form the London Gazette of 1923

The Home Secretary gives notice that in pursuance of Section 2 (1) of the Employment of Women,
Young Persons and Children Act, 1920, he has made an Order authorising the employment on two day-shifts,
of women of 18 years of age and over in the flat knitting and interlock circular knitting department at the
works of Messrs. Robinson and Pickford (1928) Limited, Watling Street, Leicestef, subject to the conditions
that a worker shall not be employed in the afternoon shift in consecutive weeks (except as may be provided
by special arrangements to suit the convenience of individual workers) and that suitable accommodation for
clothing put off during working hours, washing facilities and facilities for preparing, cooking and taking meals
at or near the works shall be provided.

Whitehall,
13th November, 1923.

I've looked at this a few times on the way to Corah but never really tried.
I've not seen it on here before so finally had a look yesterday with Oriental Orange.
