My write up is as sparse as the Factory itself.
Visited with wea5el and a handful of Infamous Poles.
Robur-Werke Zittau of East Germany (GDR) mainly produced 3-ton trucks.
The vehicles were produced in the town of Zittau in what is now South-East Saxony.
Until 1946, the company produced under the marque Phänomen (In English: Phenomenon), and until 1957 under the name VEB Phänomen Zittau.
After German reunification the company quickly folded.
If you're interested to learn more there a good read here: Ruber Werke
I'm not keen on photographing wide enclosed spaces but I did my best to ensure my lack of enthusiasm didn't effect things.
The floors, where exposed to the elements, were at least 4" thick in ice and one particular staircase had even the youngest and L33T-ist of us hanging onto the stair rail for dear life.
From a distance
Power
Ice not water
Assembly floor
Staircase of certain Death
"Good Drive" & "Four Year Plan"
More Ice and the Front Doors

Paperwork
Take a seat
They loved their windows!
Mwoar Powah!
Southern Restaurant (non-smoking)
Obligatory Stair and corridor shot in one
