ROC Selbourne, Hampshire, March 10
As the vast majority of people on here are familiar with the history of Royal Observer Corps bunkers/posts, I shall skip the lesson on egg sucking and cut to the chase.
This was my first ROC, which I visited solo and chose because of location/status.

Status: Closed 1968. Surface features in good condition.
Access: Hatch open but access is difficult.
Contents: Beds, table, shelf and cupboard. There are also documents dated 1960, a newspaper from 1967 and a number of other period items.
Again apologies for the ‘winning’ combination of an iphone and head torch, I hope to get better photos should I revisit in the future.
