The Explore
This was a rather relaxed & fun explore I did with my Kentish mate Letchbo & another non-member. We arrived at the location & I was immediately taken aback by entry, which wasn't what I was expecting at all. Once inside we got ourselves prepared & proceeded down the stairs, & as many will know are pretty gash! I was forewarned of the sorry state that they were in, but after we descended I remarked that "they weren't too bad"..........I was told by Letch that he was referring to the second set further in. He wasn't wrong, these had death trap written all over it. The railway sleeper type steps had gone through years of being continually soaked, to the point where they were beginning to feel like sponge. Not wanting to put spoil my day by plummeting several floors to the ground, I treaded very carefully & made sure I took full advantage of the reassuringly sturdy frame.

Like other members have mentioned, there isn't much in the way of history about this place, but looking around you can kind of get a sense for the usage of the different levels. On the lower section there are lots of folding bunks (shelter), & the upper levels contain a generator room, as well medical clearing stations, as pointed out clearly by the beautiful albeit fading hand painted signage on one of the doors.

This place for me is the type that is good for the space, the angles & the structure. It doesn't have that much in the way of features, with the exception of some hand painted signage, some lamps, speakers & other little fixtures here & there. But the photogenic nature of the curving beams & the flush of yellow against the more muted tones, makes for a rather interesting subject. I used the opportunity to further experiment with my growing light painting skills, as it's something that I find fun to do, & it's always a a challenge. With this regard I've still got a long way to go, but all in all I'm pretty pleased with what I got by the end of the night.

Cheers dude. You're not wrong there, we were wondering if anyone has full on stacked it down that set. Wouldn't surprise me with the amount of steps missing!

Absolutely love the look of the place, how untouched it is and the dangerous entry only makes it more appealing! Shame I'm a three hour drive away,

Greater report, pictures look awesome!

Throw in a wild camp and I'll make a weekend of it! Got a baby due so it's just not ideal at the moment, struggling to get out there at the minute!
