Recently went to visit a friend in Spain I asked him if there were any cool places to look around and he took me to this factory.
Managed to dig up a bit of history on line. San Isidro was built in 1901 as sugar factory producing sugar from Sugar beet. It had a chapel, a library, an alcohol distillery and district housing for factory workers. Over time it also had its own carpentry department, a foundry, a machine shop and a school. The factory complex facilities were created to be entirely self-sufficient it even had a railway station. It closed in 1983 and has had a few proposal's put in to be turned into industrial themed flats and office space but I guess considering the current state of the Spanish economy it will be left to rot.
