This underground HQ was cut out of an old quarry at Sarre. It was manned by Canadians who would act as reinforcements in the event of invasion from Ze Nazi’s.

Three stairways were cut into the chalk. One lead directly into a steel lined tunnel at one end and the other two lead into a brick lined section which was also connected to the steel lined section.

There are five brick lined rooms and several alcoves. Some of the connecting tunnels between the brick lined section are unlined so may not have been finished.
