After seeing Urbanchemists report on this place we needed to check it out. Such a beautiful place didnt fail.
Sedgwick gunpowder works is located on the bank of the River Kent and was opened in 1857 it used the nearby river to work its machinery.
The site includes an upstanding building, ruins, earthworks and buried remains of the northern and central parts of New Sedgwick
The site was closed in 1935.
Only have a camera on my phone so the photo are not that good. This is also my first post hope I have done it right
