Introduction
Hello there, Thanks for taking your time to view my Report, while you will probably find better photos of the place, I'll give a few guides on the do's and dont's and where to go to see the things that matter, a few things i like to say:
1) This will mainly be discussing the Upper levels of the quarry, (Inside the blue circle.) It is also 50 years since the closure of the quarry,

2) This report is not discussing 'Snakes & Ladders' while i will touching on it briefly if you have the right amount of experience as a climber and have the right equipment for it, I'd recommend these links for information on that route:
3) As with everything involving Urbex, and 28Dl leaving the right away for any purpose is as much trespass as entering an abandoned house, although ive never heard of anyone being caught up there (apart from an Illegal rave a few years back), it is still Civil trespass: https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/trespass-law.47513/W

The route
To get to & into Dinorwig Its Very simple there is a roundabout at: LL55 3ET, there is also buses which come here from Llanberis, Caernarfon and Bangor on a daily basis

After that, you will walk down a wooded path until you notice a big Mill

The first building, or whats left of it as you enter Dinorwic is the slate mill would of been one of the Final steps of the slate manufacturing done inside the quarry they would of been cut up using saws into smaller pieces before being carried on railways to Bangor and beyond,
As we head further up The path we reach the gate,

After this we head to the right Up

After this we see another building, and get a good view to Dali's hole, It was Semi Full

to the right of this building we take a staircase on the right

Sorry for my finger!

After this we head up a staircase this takes us to the most likely the most Famous building in the entire quarry
831446

The so called 'cabin' was a gathering place for workers to visit while on there breaks,

Nice guide, some excellent snaps there too. Love the flint cottage and this one, its just so natural, and isnt anything special, but I like reflections.

Wow, what an absolutely brilliant tour,
What instantly comes to mind is how hardened the people who worked in this place would have had to be, back in the early 19th century people power is how things got done.
Great pictures
