The Sheaf passes through 2 culverts,
one from Granville Road to Pond Forge via Sheffield Midland Station,
another from Pond Forge to the Don via Castlegate merges by Blonk Street bridge.
Theres a gap with retaining wall between the 2 culverts.
The Porter Brook passes through its own Culvert,
merges beneath Sheffield Midland Station.

Good to see a recent report from the sheaf approach. I've gazed upon that flood defence contraption a few times but not actually climbed down to investigate it. When I went a while ago with @tallginge he made it all the way to the weir by walking down one of the sides, right against the wall. I almost managed it but didn't want to risk full wader breach when it got to the deepest bit. And of course there's the sharks. ;-)

Nice one stranton, I'd forgotten how good the sheaf approach is. Didn't know there was another way to get to that side of the weir either.
