ok people, first report so it might be a bit rough.

The story so far (edited):
During WW2 there was a 'Dry-Shod' rehearsal exercise for D-Day on Sherrifmuir near Stirling. It utilised a previous WW1 training ground, although there is no evidence of this. The training area consisted of a 70m long wall and some machine gun bunkers. there are some bunkers which would, at the time, have been mostly underground and one that is overground.
There is lots of sand being kicked up by moles which is unusual at this height although there are known raised beaches in the area of Stirling.
The constructions themselves are in a bad way (over exposure to explosives!) and most of the underground stuff has been filled with either water or bog.
Walking around the area, you can see there was more stuff around by the amount of concrete reinforcing bars and rods sticking out the ground. there are quite a few suspicious humps.

there is a lump i think is another bunker but it is covered in heather/earth and i couldn't get it to stand out in the pic so i decided not to post it.
there are several trench/ditch remains which are visible but not sharply defined. from the hillside it is easier to see the heather patterns which have some serious angled edges.
