After failing again on our original destination, we (Tank and me) headed to the Aldwych to check out the new Silken Hotel construction, formerly, Gaiety Theatre, Ariel House, and Marconi House.
The signs on the hoarding said ' Deep excavation' and they meant it, with the deck being 4 floors below The Strand. Entry easy, and security low-key.
