Turns out I've been pretty lazy recently and got really behind on my reports! So trying to catch up....

Was a great afternoon out with The Wombat, I've borrowed his history, hope he doesn't mind

This place looked pretty uninspiring from the outside but turned out to be quite a nice little explore

The incinerator opened in the 1970s, and closed possibly around 1991. Some of the aluminium cans we found were dated 1997. The site continued to be used by the county council as a tip until 2011. The chimney was demolished at least 12 years ago.
