Firstly, I make no apologies for the vagueness of this report, the reason is that this old silk mill, or the bit in this report has been empty for well over a year and is totally undiscovered and as it was vacated. If and when it gets discovered and wrecked I will report on its full history, and it has a very long one! There is an occupied flat above this part of the unit, another reason for my repect for her.Visited with my newbie chum who is yet to ' dip his toe in the water ' and joint 28dl. A million thanks to him for gaining lawful entry.
A brook runs underneath from when it had a water wheel. Legend has it the cavern below is big enough to house a couple of double deckers!
