This former Sonderwaffenlager (Special weapons storage) is part of one of DDRs former GSSD (Gruppe der Sowjetischen Streitkräfte in Deutschland) airfields. The area consists of a underground storage bunker and several overground structures. The area was abandoned after the collapse of the DDR and was left in the early 1990s.
