South Atlantic Building, Vittoria Dock Complex, Birkenhead.

Built: by W.H. Boase & Company Ltd about 1960

Purpose: Wharfingers office for the Blue Funnel line

Blue Funnel left in about 1970

Up to 1998 the Royal Marine Reserves, Merseyside and Royal Marine Commando's Liverpool Detachment used it before moving to Liverpool

I think the police have been using the building now and then for dog training as there is the odd bit of Police tape around and dog footprints in the dust
