Well here is another report on Southam Cement Works, this site has been done alot so theres nothing worth saying on here about the site history that hasn't already been said.
I visited this site with JesterFromHell after a quick visit to RAF Honiley on a rainy august day, we were soaked by the time we got to Southam and the rain left the site extremely muddy. we got plastered in mud, clay and cement so i would recommend if you visit the site on a wet day to have spare shoes waiting in a car when you get out.
The Site itself is now active and we had to avoid several lorry and JCB drivers along with a security man that ziptied a door shut which we'd used only 15 mins before.
Still all in all a good site to explore despite the mud and extreme levels of dust that blotched out most of my pics once inside the place.
Yes its just a shovel but i try to get one from every site i visit, its daft but still.
