Developed in the early twentieth century, these two buildings - the Millenium Mills and the far smaller Rank Hovis Premier Mills - are all that remains of a previously collosal mill complex that surrounds the pontoon dock. This site would have been asoundingly busy at its peak in the sixties, but sadly the decline in this industry led all the mills (and in fact, almost all industry in the area) to be wound down during the 1970's and 1980's. The Millenium Mills themselves would be some of the last buildings go close, only finally surrendering in 1985 when the Royal Victoria Dock closed to traffic, finally sealing the end for this industrial giant.

when we were leaving Rustproof stuck his hed over the fence to see the secca looking through the back of his van
we hid for about 10minutes and luckily he fucked off
