Another Northamptonshire Explore at Risk.

Another listed building that's seen no movements for a year? On the building magically "combusts"

10 Fire Crews have been dispatched so far.

Not many of these old asylums left.

Spontanius combustion, it's a common fault with derelict buildings on prime real estate.

Ah you beat me too it, lol. Just been down there now to have a butchers... Along with about 200 other people. Police are not letting anybody near the site, I slipped through the trees at the back unseen, great view and had the best opportunity to capture some of the best and closest photos. Its a shame my photos were all crap.

Another one ffs, they need to find a cure for spontanious combustion. It's a shame that we are in a culture that doesn't preserve heritage over profit.

Went up earlier tonight to have a look. It is pretty badly fire damaged, but only one wing of it.
Even through fire damage, it is certainly still accessible.
The place is enormous. It was only a fraction of it which was burnt.
The clock tower is still perfectly fine and all in all, still be worth a good mooch.
