Visited with Dempsey, Mykal and Pixielulu.
This has been on my list for a very long time so there was no way I was going to miss out on this opportunity. So after a snap decision over msn, a quick visit up north ended up being a 5 hospital, 1 monastry weekend. We set off from Preston ridiculously early for the 3 1/2 hour drive up to Newcastle, waved to the Angel of the North, had some serious in-car karaoke, made up some new insults, bitched about relationships and saw lots of stone walls and sheep. I made Pixie stop and ask for directions so I could hear a geordie accent-I wasn't disappointed.
We were a bit late meeting up but within a couple of minutes we were in. The parquet flooring was gorgeous and the main hall was the best one I've ever seen. There was quite a bit of paperwork still left inside but otherwise it was pretty stripped-the mortuary definately needs to be found/got into. Picasa seems to have done something funny to my pics when I tried to sharpen them
A huge thanks to Dempsey and Mykal for showing us round
