In the last exploration of 2006 we devoted our time to the local Asylum - St John's just outside Lincoln. Myself and TheCrow got kitted up and braved the elements and gale force winds to go on a photographic adventure of the old nuthouse. I know everyone has seen endless photos of the place but hopefully we've captured the site well.
It was mid afternoon when we got there... a first daylight explore for us, beleive it or not - and we were in there for over 3 hours so it gave us plenty of time to get it all in. It was nice and bright to start with, but the skies soon darkened with the deteriorating weather conditions, we were soon engulfed with darkness as the old Lunatic Asylum loomed around us, the constant bangs and scrapes added to a great atmosphere for capturing the place in its glory. Crow has some more pics too, they shall be put up soon. Enjoy...
