After hearing about the place from a work mate who had previously visited I thought I’d take a trip as I was intrigued. I didn’t know much about the buildings history but further research brought up some horrible things that went on.
First of all you’re greeted by a big abandoned eye sore that looks eerie just standing outside of it. Once inside there’s not a lot to look at apart from rubble as a lot of the upper floors have collapsed due to rot and presumed fire damage from the fire that happened a few years ago. There’s a lot of graffiti around that explains in its own way what happened in this place, a history of child abuse and violence shrouds the building giving a horrible vibe.
Further back to the building is the old sports hall which was accessible and in rather good condition but yet again, the graffiti tells a horrible story.
I’ll be taking another trip back shortly to try and explore the upper floors a little more as people have said it’s a lot worse up there and there’s more of a weird vibe. I’ve also heard stories of people feeling like they’re being watched after sundown and even a lady say she had stuff thrown at her. I’d also advise bringing a dust mask as asbestos will be present and insulation is everywhere.
