I know this site has been rather done to death, but I had to get a look for myself!
Very brief history
St. Peter's Seminary is a disused Roman Catholic seminary near Cardross, Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The modernist Brutalist building was designed by the firm of Gillespie, Kidd and Coia in 1960s.
It has been abandoned since the end of the 1980s, and is currently in a ruinous state. It has also been subject to several arson attacks.
We visited on a very wet December afternoon. The constant dripping water added to the spooky atmosphere.
There were a few very new-looking fences and gates around the place from Burnfield Demolition.
Arriving at the fence and seeing St Peters for the first time
The processional ramp which leads up behind the alter. You can see the charred remains of several of the huge wooden beams from the roof above the alter
Inside the main building
We used the fire escape stairs to get up onto the top floor
Entering the boiler room
Started to get pretty dark so we headed off
