The Stadio Flaminio in Rome was built for the 1960 Olympic games, its hosted music concerts by the likes of U2, Michael Jackson and Pink Floyd.
It was home to Italian rugby until the stadium was deemed to be too small, there are a number of tombs underneath the foundations of the stadium and plans to regenerate the venue are being discussed.
Being in Rome for a few days, I had to pop in for a look, it was a very brief visit due to having to climb the fence and cutting my hand on the way in.
The place is also home to a few Roma street folk who I didn't fancy disturbing!
