The History

Stone Galleon were importers, exporters and distributors of toys, stationary, china, electrical goods and other odds and ends. The building (known as Cheiza House) apparently started life as a shoe factory in 1913. Judging by the amount of knock-off tamagotchi's and yoyos I'd say the place has been vacant since the late 90s. This place and the neighbouring Kingfield Heath are ear-marked for possible redevelopment or demolition for a residential development.

The Explore

I went into this place completely blind (always the best way) after spying a bit of a bizarre way in. The building is a complete death trap and navigating between floors was fun with both staircases at either side of the building collapsed in different places. I really enjoyed this one, but I suppose anything would look good after looking around the Typhoo factory and Kingfield Heath!

Starting out on the third floor (I think)

Having no idea where I was, I was confused to see the floor completely covered with piles and piles of tamagotchi type things

And an ancient commodore computer

Like I said, complete deathtrap. I only lost a foot through the floor once!

Completely shagged staircase

The mannequin scared the absolute shit out of me. Terrible photo as I was perched on top of a pile of bicycle wheels when I took it.

How is this still standing!, don`t make them like this anymore. I liked this report, as above nice brickwork. And plenty to investigate along with creepy arse manikins :thumb

Nope, such a faff to get between floors I left it. Anker LC90 on the ground floor, left hand side of the building free to a good home!
