This place had been tormenting us for literally years, it's boarded beyond belief and surrounded by roads on all sides but as ever, there's always a time and that time is now!

Another of the cycle works that became motor-cycle works and eventually lead to the midlands becoming the home of car making.

Hopefully, now that the site is in the hands of Urban Splash it's future will be safe, as this (from 2001) isn't reassuring:

Listing was refused, apparently on the grounds that it was not a very important motorcycle factory and did not have enough of either historic or architectural interest to justify listing.
There's really nothing left of the cycle days, all that you see is the remains of a plating and zinc casting works that made all sorts of stuff for cars in that grey monkey metal zinc stuff.
