So having seen a previous report here about Tarlair, me and Gorecki and another friend of ours decided to go see for ourselves. Had a little trouble finding it but Gorecki asked some kids, who of course knew. They told us 'its bad, you can't swim in it'. Which of course piqued our interest. So we headed on down. Its pretty well preserved, the various rust and crumbling was quite pleasant.

The site. Well boarded. There is one unboarded but locked door that suggested the possibility of getting in with a little effor but its very public and we didn't want to upset anyone.

The seawater makes for lovely rust on everything.

Holes at the sea end of what I assume to be the pumphouse. Part of the intake system presumably.

Steel-reinfoced concrete + a few decades of salty sea = pretty.

One of the pipes from the pumping house into the sea.

A bit of an arsty look at the 'plug' that keeps the water in the pool.

The main builidng. Slowly peeling. The roof is fenced off but its a simple climb to get onto it.

All in all its a nice place, and a particularly pleasant place to eat fish&chips :)
