This Pub has been empty for Many years now , even when it was open it was always closed due to flooding! I always drove past but never until recently decided to go and Investigate and have a look about, Fairly secured site to be fair but managed to find an access point! Enjoy and Keep on Exploring!!

Well done on finally getting in. Any history on this? like most pubs they seal them after theyve been trashed, shame really.

Cant Find Much History On this place, but because I live local to it I know it fully closed down about 10 Years ago, It became a strip club for a short while after the pub closed, I believe planning is now in place to build some homes on the site

In 1927 the publican was Leonard Harfield according to Kelly's Directory. As of 3/3/20 the outstanding planning permission is listed as 30024/011 – Chequers Inn, Winchester Road, Ropley – Redevelopment of site to provide nine dwellings ( supplementary drainage information received 4 April and 24 May 2019].
