The Art Factory...

The well trodden dairy crest factory.

Closed in 1993 , still sits awaiting its fate ...scheduled for demolition too make way for 140 homes

The explore...

Recently a bit of YouTube goonage crossed my newsfeed... a P.O.V ( pricks on video) I assume .. where a group of teenagers run around jumping through windows and running along walls with their go-pro strapped too their bonce,a bit of kit that their mum probably brought them for their birthday,while you the viewer sit through several minutes of crap hoping ...fingers crossed they will end up in a heap of blood and broken bones on the concrete below..

It reminded me of our visit last year ..less the athletics ...access is easy through a broken fire door,up over the skywalk into the main guts of the factory.

Am not a great fan of graffiti but the stuff here is better than your average badly drawn penis or Swastika...

Nice shots, definitely one I've been meaning to do myself for some time so best get down there before they demolish it I reckon! Looks like it's gone downhill a lot from the exterior, access will be fun too as I know there's been a few attempts to seal it up due to the local school kids getting in. Very nice though!

Nice shots, definitely one I've been meaning to do myself for some time so best get down there before they demolish it I reckon! Do some research. The creamery is twice as big as the village that's named. It's not exactly difficult to find on a map.

Did you manage to get up the cooling tower? There is a hidden staircase that goes to the top level not many people know about, if you are ever in the area again give me a shout as i live on the hill next to the dairy and there are a few hidden spots that ive never seen photos of on here

Im just in the process of updating my post with more pictures, you can see part of the way up the tower, makes your legs wobble and if you are brave enough can walk across the walkway the the external door....never risked it myself
