History:
The Hobbit House (Colin’s Barn) was built between 1989 and 1999 by a stained glass artist called Colin Stokes. Supposedly, he built it for his sheep. He collected stones left on the land and built it using dry stone walling techniques. It includes dovecots, several turrets and a selection of hand-made stained glass windows created by the artist.
