History:
The building was built in 1996 to be a care unit run by the NHS. Shortly before its sudden closure in July 2013, this care home housed 13 patients. The property is located on the outskirts of Woking. The property consists of a 24 bed purpose built care home for mental health services. There are a number of communal areas including a dining room, conservatory and lounge.
The current lawful planning use of the buildings is considered to be residential development.

So while driving to a location we drove past this care home... I’ve had it pinned on my Maps for roughly about a year and just never got round to going because I didn’t see it as an amazing location. I was very excited to explore this building when we started to approach it, probably because it was an extra that was un-planned. As usual with these kind of building is the access is ridiculously obvious and easy. There was no security or anyone in the building so we was undisturbed the whole time.
There’s nothing really much I can say about its location other than it is in a terrible state and is only worth to explore if you are in the area. The place has been completely stripped and some of the care home equipment has been recently taken out due to the recent fire. As you can see from my pictures the “copper fairies” have ripped out any remaining metal leaving the ceiling tiles and installation scattered all over the floor. The graffiti is somewhat amusing but at the same time awful. I prefer the exterior more than the interior.
None the less it was an okay explore....
