As I'm sure most of you are aware by now I had been planning on visiting Pye for quite some time. The plans changed multiple times with people declaring they would come only to find out they couldnt make it, no matter there were still 4 of us going, or so I thought.
Days before the trip I found out Stealth and a couple of boys from down kent way were also planning a trip to Pye on the same day we were visiting, Result!
After arriving in Leeds at 11:30pm way too early for my 2am coach to London I decided to try my luck wondering Leeds, got about 5 foot into the door of trinity when a cleaner came hurrying down the walkway ushering me out, fair enough thought I, pye awaits any how.
Fast forward around 7 hours and I was off the coach in sunny London awaiting my connecting train to Woking where I would meet up with Gaj who kindly agreed to pick me up and drive to Pye together where we would meet the Kent lads, not before a customary McDonalds Breakfast of course (Cheers Gaj)
Arriving at Pye around 9:30 we met up with the Kent lads and should've met up with JasperB and RavenWing however they would arrive later...much later
and begun the long walk around the perimeter sussing out the best place for access, after around an hour (which felt a lot shorter) we were in and heading towards my first slice of Pye and what an adictive taste it is, no sooner had I walked into the first building I was already planning when I could return!
Massive thanks to all involved in making it such an enjoyable weekend for me: Stealth, Wevsky, Gaj, RavenWing, JasperB, Space Invader, Urban Ginger, silverainbow, Maniac, Obscurity, Fort Knox, Hope I didnt slow you guys up too much!
Special thanks to SpaceInvader for the impromptu window access technique and to RW and Jasp for providing soup to keep us warm while we fell asleep on the power station roof and to Gaj for the lift to Pye and the Maccy D's breakfast.
Took around 200 pictures the time I was there but some how missed a lot of the stuff I wanted to see and the stuff I did im not too impressed with but in the name of keeping memories here are a few of my favourite pics from the day

All in all I was in pye with various groups for 27ish hours which I suppose makes my images all the more depressing given the bags of time I had to capture them, any excuse for a return trip
After all the planning we Pye-nally made it....see what I did there...
