Is this of any interest- has anyone been and got photos?
I could kick myself because years ago I bought a box of old papers from the Cooper Dean Estate and I handed it over to the Record Office but when I went back and looked up Throop Mill in their index years later I found nothing. The box had some old architect type drawings of the sluice gate and mill from memory. Didn't pay much attention to it at the time. No idea what happened to the box of papers- may be still lurking on a dark shelf, mis indexed or dumped- who knows.

Got an interest in this area now as I've got an old school log book from Holdenhurst and some of the children seemed to come from Throop.
