Report - Tilstone House - Tarporley, Cheshire - March 2022

This place has been doing the rounds recently and has been on here a few times but it looked pretty interesting with some decent features and some nice bits of decay so we went for a look.

History - There isn't a lot of history on this place. Built in 1888 by Lord Daresbury as a hunting lodge it was used as a residential property by multiple owners until being turned into a wedding venue. The building was damaged by a large fire in early 2020 and has been derelict ever since.

Explore - This place is a chilled out explore, access is easy and the house is set in large grounds. It's suffered a bit more damage since the last report on here a couple of months ago.

Totally agree on that, it pretty much sums up for me what urbex is all about.

It's hard to believe that this place has only been derelict since 2020, it looks like it's easily got another few years on it than that!

It is a cool place, the amount of decay come from the fact that the fire has gutted the roof so the whole place is soaking.

Nice set of pictures. I'm sure I saw this place on youtube within the last few weeks. Can't recall who covered it...Abandoned World Explorers maybe? Adam Mark? Shame something can't be done, its a shame for it to rot away.

Great location, managed to get in here a couple of weeks ago! Didn't see the long room with the beds though! Looks so much better in the day!
