OK, so I know this place has been bashed to bits (photographically) but those that were either with me on our last explore of the place, or have read my previous report will know my frustration at the death of my 18-55 lens during that explore.

This left me feeling that I'd not shot all that I wanted, and so it seemed like a good excuse to go back.

Finding 4 rolls of out of date Ilford FP4 in an old camera case seemed like an even better one!

So, a few pics, shot on FP4 that was being dragged through an Olympus OM1, 50mm prime lens for most shots, couple shot on a 28mm.

And a teasel gig that had seen better times:

And finally my favourite - I love things like this, the little relics of real people,
with real lives, people that simply called places like this 'work'

What can I say? - the man just knows me too well

p.s, if anyone finds my cable release when they go, could they stash it somewhere on-site and let me know - OH - another excuse to go back :p

It looks like this:

Also took some (digital) pics of the live side of the site (hi vis - "lost and looking for a company" - that I knew had moved out a while back) - Not too exciting - but I'll stick them up soon - just for info.

Developed and scanned by a friend (well, almost ex-friend because I wouldn't tell him where it was :p)

Developed using DD-X (I believe)

Cheers Styru, I really like the look of them, I've been shooting some FP4 recently but not got it to look like that, I might try a different developer.

My tame developer friend is real 'old school' - as far as I can see, the temp is all wrong, timings are out, chemical mix wrong - but the b*strd just turns out great results.

He's 72 and been doing it for years - I guess its just like well experienced cooks - they dont measure, weigh, time, etc - but just know what works.

I can develop - but, no, mine never look like that!

Cracking shots Styru. B & W always seems more detailed in my opinion.

Whilst people are looking for your cable release, can they keep an eye out for my P7 LED Lenser which was last seen in the depths of the generator room!

Maybe this place is getting it's own back on us, by now swallowing our gear!!

Awesome shots, B&W always gives things a different dimension.

Whilst looking out for a cable release and a P7, if people could look out for my teasel gig that I left there, that'd be great.

Good idea to try a b&w treatment - the Dye House is really difficult to photograph.

If people want their stuff back, they'll need to be quick. ;)
