Both retail stores was built in the 1980s and the site was orginally used for Huntley & Palmers (Reading's Biscuit Factory) until it got demolished to make way for these two big retail units on Kenavon Drive.
It was a pretty good explore even though i done ToysRus first as it closed October 2017 and Homebase followed on February 2018.
Both retail units are waiting for demolition to make way for one of Readings biggest development 800 flats.
Demolition is set to commence later on this year.

Its a decent explore not really much in the stores but still pretty decent, you can get onto the roof of the toys r us by heading up a staircase in the loading bay walking through a bit until you see a white ladder with a hatch on the top, takes you straight to the roof but there is an apartment building right behind you so be careful of people seeing and calling it in
