One I stumbled upon whilst out and about, has to be one of my top 3 time capsules.
An imposing 4 bedroom detached house with a self contained bungalow to the rear.
I get the impression that the last occupier was the spinster of the parish as there was no evidence of “men’s stuff” or kids stuff amongst the treasure that fills every room In both properties.
I suggest that the generational inhabitants were not Welsh born and bred but relocated in the middle of the last century, seeking to learn our language ( though there are no Welsh publications to be seen). looking at the very dated photo albums it would appear that the family were quite wealthy.
most of the publications are scholarly and academic as well as religious and date back over 100 years.
there was a calendar on the wall of the bungalow dated 1995, I know nothing more, due to its remoteness let’s hope it Doesn’t get trashed by anything other than natural decay.

Fantastic stuff. You 'named' that pretty effectively in terms of people not be able to find it!

Is it fairly easy to enter? I pass the house almost every week when I go see my folks but thought it was boarded up.

Went there Saturday. Very interesting place and lots of history inside. The little annex at the back was a bonus.

Was a good explore. Reminded me so much of cloud house, about an hour’s drive away. Did you check out the near by chapel? A report on it is on here. Bethania Chapel I think it’s called
