Meant to have a look at this last summer and just never got round to it so after a mooch round Tuckers we headed over, Soon becomes clear its taken a beating since the handful of reports from last June not to mention the amount of rubbish graffiti tags and a tramps nest or 2

Typhoo's origins are located in Birmingham . By the turn of the 20th century, Birmingham had over sixty tea merchants selling mostly large leaf tea.

Typhoo was the first brand of tea to be sold pre-packaged rather than loose over the counter.

the lower factory floors are vast but empty, offices are smashed tagged up and also empty as far as i know it closed in the 70's

That sign would make me want to test that theory if I worked there.

Nice report :thumb Some good snaps there.

Looking a bit worse for wear as you say. Didn't see that sign though!

Didn't realise it closed so long ago, I'm amazed it's even there.

The upper floor has been empty since 1978 but the lower floors were used as a clothing wholesaler as recently as 2001 I believe.

Really liked it here when I went last year, it was a shame to see all the tagging and pikey damage that has happened since :(

Really nice shots mate. I was also too slow off the mark last summer it ended up sealed before I got around to it. Seems it's glory days are gone but nevertheless, proper good job!

I can't be too mad at the Graff lot, I bet they were chomping at the bit to get in there just like us!
