Right, history is harder to find than hens teeth on this one. Been digging around on several forums and from what I can piece together and with best guesses it looks as if it may have belonged to Firth Browns in Sheffield many years ago, or it may have just been a general medical center. It now has a car park on the top of it and walls built up around the sides and back filled so kind of underground, but not - if you follow me.
After several failed attempts I decided to 'shit or bust' this one and went in on my own since I had stuff in the car - something I won't be doing again. There is more to explore but having been down there an hour I was needing to call off the search party. The entry I found into this place was farking ludicrous and could easily pass as something from 'Mission Impossible' - but it was worth it.
