This was a massive industrial site that closed in 2005. It is now pretty much completely gone.
I did find this small building that was a pump house and water treatment unit.
The warning on this gate still relevant as there are a lot of open manholes that are full of water around and inside the building
Inside the building is total devastation everything has been seriously smashed by scrap thieves. Quite why this was not properly demolished is a bit of a mystery
This is the main holding tank, the "snow" is plastic chips from the next door factory that makes sheet plastic products
The nicest thing was the dosing machinery, for some reason practically untouched.
It almost has a face
